I'm in a good corp with an alliance and we've been recruiting a lot of players and all been supportive donating as much as we can, but the donations are still below the requirements to get the clone packs for the PC. After the first clone packs, then what? I suppose we would have to donate all over again for that much. But I think if the ISK requirement was lowered, it would give other corps a fighting chance to try out the PC. I enjoy playing in the normal matches, but I'm anxious to try out PC. And no, I'm not gonna leave my corp for another just to get in PC. What can we do to participate in the PC equally?
I am in new Eden. I am adapting. I am asking. Thank you. New Eve corps are unable to enter Sov either. Both Sov and PC are designed as the "extremely hard" mode of the games, and require a lot of teamwork to be successful. I see no reason to open PC to small corps.
I have a "reason" ; This is Dust 514, not EvE online.
Dust 514 ; MMO First Person Shooter ..."RPG" soon ?
EvE online ; Space Exploration MMO Role Play Game.
You see... two different things. |

Eve is not an exploration game - it's a game about war in space. Dust is made by people the same developers as Eve, and is meant to mimic Eve principles but in an FPS format.
Space Exploration is the "Genre". Example : the X series games. ( X3 Reunion ), Freelancer... to say just few.
A First Person Shooter is a different Genre.
Microsoft games did make both Halo and Freelancer, but they play differently, and feel differently ... because they are to completely different Genres.
The rules that apply to EvE, won't work in a FPS... simply because is a different Genre. |
